Key Stocks in Focus on Sept 12: RIL, Anupam Rasayan, Tata Steel & More

Investing.com — Reliance Industries (NS:): The oil-to-telecom conglomerate has acquired the polyester chips and yarn manufacturer Shubhalakshmi Polyesters for Rs 1,592 crore, and is subject to CCI and the respective lenders’ approval.

ONGC (NS:): The PSU major has signed six contracts for Discovered Small Fields in the Offshore under the DSF-III bid round, with 3 each for fields in the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, as per reports.

Tata Steel (NS:): The steelmaker’s Board of Directors will meet on Sept 14 for consideration of unsecured non-convertible debentures issue on a private placement basis. 

Oil India (NS:): The second largest Indian-government-owned hydrocarbon explorer and producer dissolved its subsidiary Oil India Cyprus on Sept 10.

Adani Transmission (NS:): Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infrastructure (NS:) has filed a Rs 13,400 crore arbitration claim against the Adani (NS:) Group company for allegedly breaching the terms of a deal to sell its Mumbai power distribution business.

Anupam Rasayan India (NS:): The specialty chemicals manufacturer’s plant in Sachin GIDC, Surat witnessed a fire incident on Sept 10. Four people died and 20 were injured in the fire incident at Unit 6 of the plant.
